Thirteen medical conditions I have, had, thought I had, or think I have or will have:
- Perennial Allergic Rhinitis (have) - my nasal passages get inflammed and almost close up, it feels like I'm drowning when it gets really bad!
- Acne Vulgaris (had) - I guess we've all had a pimple here and there during puberty....why does it have to be called Acne? It's such an ugly word...ACNE, ACNE... it's like a curse word if you ask me.... can't we just call it pimplitis or something other than ACNE....
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (have) - just a mild case, need to lay off the caffeine and chocolates.
- Myopia (have) - a.k.a. nearsightedness, I love my glasses, even working in a LASIK clinic didn't convince me to abandon my glasses.
- Cholelithiasis (thought I had) - a.k.a. gallbladder stones. I had an ultrasound of my gallbladder and I'm clear!
- Ankylosing Spondylitis (think I have) - a joint disease that affects mainly the spine, I have a positive family history.
- Hypertension (will have) - strong family history and already have it to some degree, too much coffee and stress.
- Diabetes Mellitus (will have) - strong family history.
- Osteoarthritis (think I have) - you don't have to be that old to have it...
- Plantar Fascitis (have off and on)- foot and heel pain. I got it from running and standing for long periods of time (in the O.R.)
- TMJ (had) - got my wisdom teeth out, and it cleared up.
- Hyperthyroidism (thought I had) - turns out it was just really hot in the Philippines, and I was drinking too much coffee....
- Hypochondriasis (for sure I have) - you must have seen this coming, and trust me, there's more than just 13.... Luckily (for the doctor), I hate going to the doctor.....
Happy Thirteening TTers! Bon Sante!

my tt is up
I agree. 'Acne' is such an ugly, ugly word. I hate that word. I also don't like the word 'pimple'...I guess I just plain don't like those little spots I get! Happy TT!!!
praying for your health..there are a lot workds like that I dont like either..heres to staying healthy
I was a little worried! I think every blogger should leave access to his/her blog to someone in his/her will so that at least if this hypochondriosis thing is fatal, we'll know you are gone! :)
Anyone who thinks that is inappropriate, sorry! Dark humor.
Oh, you're not alone.
I have strong family history of the diseases you related and then some!
You're not alone! :-)
My TT is up too!
Hugs,
A. xox

Boy, that's quite a list! The only thing I've had from that is TMJ. I still have it. Happy TT!
RX: It's more case #13!
Nothing that a good dose of a hearty laughter everyday can't cure.
NIce TT Angelo!
Ghee: Thanks so much for finishing it so quickly! Ya, too much coffee is bad, but I know how you feel coz I can't get through a day without at least 2-3 cups!
Local Girl: I hope your TMJ gets better, it's really distressing if your jaw locks up!
Gina: You MUST be a grea doctor, coz your diagnosis and treatment are BANG ON!
Even your diseases are nerdy Angelo. :) They all sound Greek to me... except for acne. :) Myself, I have costochondritis (had) and myasthenia gravis (think I have... I have droopy eyelids).
