how come you got to take that shot??? I thought we weren't allowed to use our cameras on board flights anymore.... it's a great shot... looks like you were sitting close to the wing... and that shot of your companian aeroplane is great...
Thanks EVERYONE for dropping by! Happy WW.... This was taken flying back to Toronto from Newark, New Jersey.... I was actually taking a picture of my airplane's shadow which was being cast on the clouds beneath us. There was a cool rainbow-like halo around it, and that's what I was trying to capture.... No special technique in taking the shot, just pointed and clicked! On Continental airlines you're allowed to use cameras along with laptops, Mp3 players, etc, after the plane has reached 10,000 ft.
Dramatic photo, very clever. Amazing to see the other plane in the distance. I can never see the other planes when the airline captain draws our attention to them.
