Well that's smart...was that really in Japan? It wasn't like that when I lived there, but I have been back in the US for 24 years. Wow...that made me feel very old, very fast.

Tiggerprr: yup it's in Japan. I took it in Kawasaki last year. I guess time flies by, and technology flies in Japan too.... so it really shouldn't make you feel old!
Shoshana: Actually, I didn't see any attendants, but it was at a condo, so if they had any problems I guess they could call the superintendent? Glad to see you playing WW :)

Ghee: ya it's awesome, it's an excellent space saving solution. I saw something like this near Megamall in the Philipines, but nothing that actually came up from the ground like this. I took it at a condominium somewhere in Kawasaki when I was there.
You're right though, I'm wary of the stability of these things! But I'm sure they're fine. Ya I heard about those hotels, seems more like a mausoleum than a hotel!

Mar:I didn't realize that Blogger was still having that problem! I regretted switching to beta at first because of that problem. You could also use the "OTHER" option when choosing an identity to comment.
You know, you can switch to beta without switching your blog's template to beta. I did that for a while, but then I couldn't resist, and it's actually much easier in beta!

Very intelligent, pratical and space saving !!! We need it here in France since the road is tooooo narrow tapos double way pa, can't find a space to park and bit expensive especially when you go to the center :( ! That's the reason why french cars are small hehehe !

Connie: In a way, it may be a good thing that we haven't seen stuff like this, I guess it could mean we live in areas that are relatively not overcrowded, that such a solution is not yet necessary or economicaly viable? Thanks for dropping by :)
Haze: Ya, parking is sooo expensive here in Toronto too, they do it on purpose to get people to take public transport. Salut!
