What a dramatic photo, Angelo...it's almost surreal, with the colour of the sun and the silhouetted buildings. Very artistic.

you have no idea how i found your words comforting... and really inspiring...

i'm praying that the angels would fly by my window tonight :)

thanks, mate.

mel: Hey Mel! Yes you're first hehe... ya Ghee is MIA, but we just need to give her a visit and I'm sure she'll pop out... I think she's busy with her real life though :) Thanks Mel, hope you are doing good!

lucas: Hey man, how did you like half-blood prince, most of my die-hard fan friends did not like it. And you're welcome, just hang in there and keep your eyes, ears, and heart open to those angels. take care man.

Puss-in-Boots: Thanks Robyn! I wish I could've waited a little longer, I'm sure the colours would have been more dramatic with the sun lower in the horizon, but I was in a hurry to get to dinner.

Shoshana: Thanks Shosh! I'm glad your daughter liked my picture too.

Thanx, God!

Beautiful, beautiful...

I love the silhouette effect!

dodong flores: Gratias Dodong, and Deo Gratias indeed.... for the sunset and for so much more.

And yes! You're very observant. It was Amsterdam Ave. I don't know if there is a street named Amistad in New York City, especially one that intersects 1st street or 1st ave heheh.... But I walked by the corner of 111st St. and Amsterdam and there was a big cathedral there. I looked for God in case He was there smoking a cigarette.... sadly He wasn't.... but I'm pretty sure I'll find Him on another corner some day, just gotta keep my eyes peeled....

how i love this shot...the silhouette, the cloud and of course the sunset...it heals my "hangover",hehe...

i started to construct the meaning inside my head, and it gave me a poetic, dramatic, romantic start of the day. :)

This is a perfect Gotham moment. I could almost see Batman on top of one of the buildings with Joker in hot pursuit.

Angelo said...

Ghee: Hey Ghee, hangover too eh? hehe.... when I read your comment I was wasted, then yesterday, I was too hungover to reply haha... but I'm better now, let's both have a great start to a new week :)

The Nomadic Pinoy: Tru dat Nomad, NY is so Gotham. I wonder if there's a batman somewhere around here?
