It's been eight years....

9-11 2009 (52)
Earlier today, I listened for Tu Anh Pham's name to be called, and tonight I payed my respects at Ground Zero....9-11 2009 (33)
9-11 2009 (112)
I took the PATH to New Jersey to get a better view of those ghostly Twin Towers, known as "Tribute in Light"....
9-11 2009 (76)
eternal rest grant unto them and let perpetual light shine upon them....9-11 2009 (45)may they rest in peace....

What a beautiful tribute to 09/11, Angelo. Especially with the twin towers of eternal light.

I don't think I'll ever forget those images on tv that morning. When the penny finally dropped that what I was looking at was real, my feelings were indescribable.

RIP

Puss-in-Boots: Thanks Robyn, I know what you mean. It's still hard to watch the footage even 8 years on....

the pictures gave me that familiar feeling of sadness and awe... it's been eight years but will not be surprised if the pain is still there especially to those who have lost their loved ones in that very tragic day...

Parang kailan lang...

I was stranded in El Nido in Palawan when this incident happen and I heard of this from other people but didn't have much idea about it since we didn't have access to news and any other form of media. I learned of this a few months later when I was back to Manila...

Nice photo documentation as always, Angelo. Perfect tribute for 9/11

That was a nice tribute. 9/11 incident was really tragic.

have you heard about the typhoon ondoy last weekend? Flood was everywhere - EDSA, Marikina, Pasig, Ortigas, Manila.. the whole metro actually. Many people (even animals) have died. Pls pray for them, too. :(

AJ: Hey AJ, yeah, I hope ground zero is resurrected sooner rather than later, it's been so long already.

Dodong Flores: Hey Dodong, yeah tell me about it. Thanks, but the pictures don't do it justice.

Gina: Hey Gina, it's even eerier in real life. amen to that.

The Nomadic Pinoy: Amen to that Nomad.

Ghee: Thanks Ghee, and welcome back!

Mel: Welcome back too Mel, and yeah, I only just heard about the severity of the typhoon. I was thinking it was just another baha, but I saw the pictures this evening. I hope for everybody who was affected.
