Hey Santa, Remember Me?

Nothing like a Santa Claus Parade complete with marching bands, Christmas carols, humongous floats, and excited kids (of all ages) everywhere, to get you infected early with the Christmas spirit.... Luckily, I dropped by Leah's blog yesterday.... she inspired me to take a break from my anxiety riddled nerd-fest in the Gerstein Library, to greet good ol' St. Nick on his annual pre-Christmas eve visit to Toronto.... I think I'm finally starting to shed the humbug that's been hanging over my head for the past couple of years.... Thanks Leah, I'm glad I found you and your family in that crowd.....
Gimme a big cheeesse Samantha Claus....Whoaw Clifford, you're huge....
Lookin' good Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head.....
Check out SPUDerman in the back....
Watawat....
Weeeeee.....
Santa's workshop, must mean a certain somebody is close by.....KIDS GONE WILD.... I guess they sense the big guy's near.....The big guy himself....
A Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night....

I love Santa parades and that one you went to looks a really beauty. I'm starting to get the lovely Christmassy feeling now that it's the middle of November.

I love Christmas...yes, I'm a big kid too.

Thanks for the photos, Angelo. They're really great.

Hey Angelo,
These are neat photos too. And I love that picture of me and Samantha. Thanks for finding us. It was nice to see you again.

I'm borrowing one of your Santa photos. My camera died when he came.

puss-in-boots: Hi Robyn, we should all be kids at Christmas eh? Merry Christmas to you, I know it's early, but what the heck...

leah: It was great to see you again too Leah. Being around Sam and the multitude of kids made me feel like a big kid again. Be my guest with my pics! Sorry they didn't turn out too great... I was wondering where your Santa pics were. Gonna check out your blog now.

I wish there's a Santa parade here in the Phils. Usually it's only Santa booth in the malls. :)

I'm a bit surprised when I saw the "watawat". ;) Seeing those photos (esp the last 2) remind me that Xmas is indeed approaching. So I wish you a very jolly Christmas this coming holiday! I hope you're always doing good there. Stay healthy both of you and Nermal. *meow

Mel: Hey Mel, don't worry he'll make it to the Philippines on Christmas eve for sure :) Ya, the watawat is from the Philippine Heritage Band, they march at the parade every year. Hope you enjoy the Christmas spirit this year, Nermal says purrrr!

Looks like FUN!
The different floats look awesome.
Beautiful pic of Samantha Claus and Leah ;-)

I'm glad you had a great time away from the books!

Gina: Hi Gina, ya it was a welcome break. Luckily Leah was there, it gave me a reason to drag myself out of the library. I thought that you and Tony might be there too, but I guess the Santa Claus parade is kids stuff.... which doesn't say much about my level of maturity :)

Hi, Angelo!

This is a very colorful parade. I'm sure we don't have that Santa Claus parade here in the Philippines...

I love the eighth photo :)

Dodong Flores: Hey Dodong, thanks.... yeah, you wouldn't want the Santa Claus Parade to come through Manila, the traffic is bad enough without the streets being closed off.
