sono ad me Domine

I have no wit, no words, no tears;
My heart within me like a stone
Is numbed too much for hopes or fears.
Look right, look left, I dwell alone;
I lift mine eyes, but dimmed with grief
No everlasting hills I see;
My life is in the falling leaf:
O Jesus, quicken me.

My life is like a faded leaf,
My harvest dwindled to a husk:
Truly my life is void and brief
And tedious in the barren dusk;
My life is like a frozen thing,
No bud nor greenness can I see:
Yet rise it shall--the sap of spring;
O Jesus, rise in me.

My life is like a broken bowl,
A broken bowl that cannot hold
One drop of water for my soul
Or cordial in the searching cold;
Cast in the fire the perished thing;
Melt and remould it, till it be
A royal cup for Him, my King:
O Jesus, drink of me.

Isuta Omedetou Gozaimasu,Pom Kun!God bless you and your family!

I luv the song and the pic!!We don`t have a Visita Iglesia here,nor easter egg hunting,etc.etc,so I admit that it is always better to be in a Christian country.I am used to it coz it`s all the matter of your belief,right?and it`s always solemn to attend a Japanese mass.last Holy Thursday,they had this "unique way" of presentation where in the priests with the help of the Sacristans actually washed the feet of 12 selected men(as the 12 apostles)right after the sermon of the Priest.It was my first time to see that kind of ceremony.what I noticed was the numbers of foreign priests!there is usually 1 or 2 foreign priests in one church,and the rest are the Japanese priests.I may say that Sendai has a big church.

well,anyway,Happy Easter to you and your loved ones again,Angelo.arigatou gozaimasu!

hugs to Nermal!!

Isuta Omedetou Gozaimasu Ghee san!

Thats great you were able to participate even in non-Christian Japan Ghee. You know, the rituals of the church are the same no matter where you go. That's why its called catholic, Greek for universal. They always ask for volunteers at our church to have their foot washed, but I never! hehe...

Well, I hope that being close to a big church will help you along your journey. God bless you and your family, Happy Easter!

Hi Angelo!

The song and poem are beautiful, and the accompanying photo is just awesome! I just love the way you underexposed the picture in order to emphasize the candlelights! You certainly captured the mood of the serenity and holiness of the Lent.
Happy Easter to you and your family and may God bless you always! Kelan ka ba magbakasyon sa Pinas?

Dennis Villegas: Happy Easter Dennis and thanks. I wish I could come to the Philipines now hehe... my friend, the one in Calapan, actually offered to buy me a ticket, but I've been too focused on finishing my exam which I took last week. Hopefully soon, I miss the Philippines!

Shoshana: Thanks Shoshana, Happy Easter to you too!

A belated Happy Easter to you and your family, KA.

Did you go on an egg hunting with Nermal? I was in Ilocos that time, we're probably traveling back home already, and I was praying inside the van. I get to visit 3 churches only.

May God be with you always. :)
