I AM!

DSC07528i
I've been representin' in NYC! Couldn't be home in Canada for that epic hockey show down last night, so to celebrate Team Canada's awesome defeat of Team USA in OT, I have been wearing my red mittens, raising them in the air, and waving them like I just don't care, all over Manhattan.... did I mention it's too hot to be wearing mittens?.... but like I said... I just don't care....

aside from waving them all over Times Square, here they are at Bryant Park.... Hi Empire State Building!....

here they are at Rockefeller Center.... sup Prometheus....

here they are with Atlas, and the traffic on 5th Ave.... hey Atlas, need a hand....

not only did Canada finally win a gold medal on Canadian soil, but our athletes won 14 gold medals on Canadian soil.... that was more gold medals than any other nation, and the most gold medals won by any nation in the history of Winter Olympics.... Canada also ranked 3rd in the overall medal count.... what?!.... Great job Team Canada!

with glowing hearts an entire nation is proud of y'all, and proud to be Canadian....

Hellooooo KA and Ghee chan! *hugs* It's nice to be back here. And hurray for Canada! :)

My mom would frequently flip channels and end up watching the winter olympics. lol. And it was my first time to see the "curling" sport. (Did I get it right?) How I wish I'm expert on ice, too. Ghee chan is getting a lot of practice lately. ;)

That's it for now. I better get back to work. Btw, I've been applying for new jobs somewhere in Makati... that's what keeping me busy these days. I have a technical interview this Friday. Pls pray for me. i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Tc always KA. And you, too, Ghee chan. And yes, the email reply. Sorry for the super delay. :D

Christian Bryan: Thanks Bry, maybe we can hang out in Manhattan one day.

Mel: Mel!!! Haha, now curling is known in the Philippines! I used to hate curling coz it looked so stupid to me, but I got hooked watching, coz figuring out the rules intrigued me.

Ya Ghee's an expert on ice, did you see her video and pics hehe. Don't worry Mel, you got Ghee and me to help you be an expert on ice :)

Good luck with the job hunt. I'll say a prayer of you, I'm sure you'll do great! Don't worry about the email. Take care and good luck again!

Jocuri Online: Thanks Jocuri.

The games were great, weren't they? Australia got a couple of golds, too. First time for us.

Love your red mitts...did the Nyers wonder what you were about???

Puss-in-Boots: Congrats to Australia Robyn. It was a great Olympics! Lots of records and firsts. NYers don't really care about weird tourists walking around with red mittens.... it takes a lot to phase them hehe... my friend's got a couple of "are you visiting from Canada"'s though.

Thank you, KA! :)

Ya, i saw Ghee chan's vid. She's an expert already. haha. I wish someday I'll be able to visit US/Japan and experience snow. By then, you and Ghee chan can give me skiing lessons. lol.

Hi, Angelo. That's an awesome move to represent your country on foreign land. I was so clueless that you would do it. the blessings from heaven paid off your effort and Team Canada won!
Nice photos of NYC too as seen from your standpoint...
