Harbinger of Spring #1

A Happy Vernal Equinox to everyone! Yesterday I saw the first concrete sign that Spring is finally here....A Robin Redbreast visited my backyard, just in time for the first day of Spring.... a Happy New Year to our Persian friends as well!

I love Robins. I used to watch them outside my window while I read my book with an afghan on my lap and a nice tea near me.

I can't believe there was ever a "quiet" times like those. Maybe I'm imagining somebody else's life coz I had forgotten what quiet feels like.

We have robins in Australia but they are smaller and I don't think they have the red breast (I'll have to look up my bird book). Anyway, we don't have them in Queensland.

I think all you northern hemisphere dwellers are rather looking forward to the warmer weather...
