Well that's smart...was that really in Japan? It wasn't like that when I lived there, but I have been back in the US for 24 years. Wow...that made me feel very old, very fast.

Wow...that's amazing! I guess they'd have to always have an attendant ready or you're so stuck!

I played this WW first time this week. :)

Looks like hot wheels toys for a giant. I haven't been to Japan- I thought most of that kind of thing was exaggeration. . .

That's a good idea! We have something like that in Munich I think!

We don't have anything like that here although we probably should. What a great idea!

Tiggerprr: yup it's in Japan. I took it in Kawasaki last year. I guess time flies by, and technology flies in Japan too.... so it really shouldn't make you feel old!

Shoshana: Actually, I didn't see any attendants, but it was at a condo, so if they had any problems I guess they could call the superintendent? Glad to see you playing WW :)

The Foo: tell me about it, they got so much cool stuff!

Ghee: ya it's awesome, it's an excellent space saving solution. I saw something like this near Megamall in the Philipines, but nothing that actually came up from the ground like this. I took it at a condominium somewhere in Kawasaki when I was there.

You're right though, I'm wary of the stability of these things! But I'm sure they're fine. Ya I heard about those hotels, seems more like a mausoleum than a hotel!

Ren.Kat: ya, tell me about it!

Sweet Kitty: lucky! I wish we had these in Toronto, they're cool...

local girl: ya we should, they're cool!

Mar:I didn't realize that Blogger was still having that problem! I regretted switching to beta at first because of that problem. You could also use the "OTHER" option when choosing an identity to comment.

You know, you can switch to beta without switching your blog's template to beta. I did that for a while, but then I couldn't resist, and it's actually much easier in beta!

Good Luck

Starrlight: it seems a little suspect, but probably just needs practice.... can you imagine getting stuck up there?

Bond: Cool really!? Where, I'd like to see next time I'm down there.

It would sure ease the parking problems here in the DC area.
Great pic

How does one do that?

Anonymous said...

Really? That is so cool!

Connie said...

wow! I don't think I've ever seen anything like that.

Very intelligent, pratical and space saving !!! We need it here in France since the road is tooooo narrow tapos double way pa, can't find a space to park and bit expensive especially when you go to the center :( ! That's the reason why french cars are small hehehe !

Delightfulduchess: yeah, here in Toronto too!

Anonymous said...

Amy: No so sure, hydraulics I guess? The lady just pushed a button and out popped the cars from the ground, it was cool :)

Anonymous said...

Kim: Word, it is cool!

Anonymous said...

Connie: In a way, it may be a good thing that we haven't seen stuff like this, I guess it could mean we live in areas that are relatively not overcrowded, that such a solution is not yet necessary or economicaly viable? Thanks for dropping by :)

Haze: Ya, parking is sooo expensive here in Toronto too, they do it on purpose to get people to take public transport. Salut!
